SACRAMENTO – Contestants from across the state won a total of $202,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show.
The first player at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Myrna Bradley, a flight attendant from Oakland, who was thrilled to win $75,000. Ms. Bradley, who buys her tickets at Albertson’s in San Bruno, said, “I’m going to use this money towards a down payment on a home.” The second player was Maxeen Plummer from Ukiah who won $65,000. Ms. Plummer, who bought her ticket at Henny Penny Family Restaurant in Ukiah, plans to buy a car and a plasma television with her winnings. Finishing the “Fantasy 5 Dream
Machine” lucky streak was Eva Erskine, an aerospace employee from Palmdale. Ms. Erskine, who won $20,000, bought her ticket at Cig World in Palmdale, and plans to invest her winnings towards her retirement.
From the “Aces High” round, Julio Diaz, a truck driver from La Puente, won the right to spin “The Big Spin” wheel. Diaz bought his Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Golden Jug in La Puente and uncovered TV Show -TV Show -TV Show and went directly to “The Big Spin” show and spun the wheel for $20,000. “What an amazing experience! I didn’t expect to win this much money,” said Diaz.
