SACRAMENTO – California Lottery players from across the state won a total of $172,500 on “The Big Spin®” show that aired Saturday, November 27, 2004.
Robert Steineke, a barber from San Jose, was the first contestant on this week’s show to play “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine.” Mr. Steineke, who purchased his ticket at Los Gatos U-Save Liquor, won $65,000, and said, “It was an awesome experience appearing on the show and winning this much money!”
Maria Arias, a medical collector from Arcadia, was next at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine.” Ms. Arias, who purchased her ticket at Tastio Donuts in Los Angeles won $25,000, and said, “I’m thrilled to be able to buy a new car and pay off bills.”
From the “Aces High” round, Catherine Dalton, a Sacramento resident won the right to spin the wheel. Ms. Dalton, who bought her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Circle K #1057 in Sacramento, spun the wheel for $60,000! “This is great! Now I can afford a down payment on a house,” said Dalton.
