SACRAMENTO – Contestants from across the state won a total of $377,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show.
From the “Aces High” round, Alfred Wilson, a shipping clerk from Gardena won the right to spin the wheel. Wilson, who bought his Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Carson Chevron in Carson, spun the wheel for $100,000 and said, “I will be taking my family to Hawaii.”
The first player at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Kenneth Wright III, an accounting supervisor from Stockton, who was happy to win $85,000. Wright plans to go on a nice family vacation with winnings from the ticket he purchased at Eastern Newsstands in San Francisco. The second player to step up to the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine”
was Bal Sablad, a legal secretary from Vallejo who won $75,000. Sablad, who bought his ticket at Van Ness Keno Ice Cream in San Francisco, plans to go the Philippines on vacation with his winnings.
Finishing the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” lucky streak was Cynthia Williams of Banning. Williams, who bought her ticket at Sunset Market Deli & Liquor in Banning, won $65,000 in prize money and plans to invest her winnings in real estate. Concluding the excitement was Miguel Nava from Van Nuys, who went directly to the wheel and won $30,000. Nava bought a Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at K S Mini Market in Van Nuys and scratched it to reveal Spin-Spin-Spin.
