SACRAMENTO – Thirteen contestants won a total of $267,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show.
Madhu Sen from Modesto and Santos Sanchez of Lynwood were the two survivors from round one of the “Aces High” game. In round two, Sanchez won a chance to spin the wheel, while Sen won $5,000. Sanchez, who bought his Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at A & S Market in Lynwood, spun the wheel for $100,000! Sanchez plans to split his winnings with his family.
The first of two players to play the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Ron Knudtson, a cement contractor from Concord. Knudtson purchased his ticket at House of Lui in Concord and was delighted to win $65,000. After his win, Knudtson said, “It was a great experience to have been on the show.” The second player to step up to the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Brandy Steele of Fort Bragg. Steele, who bought her ticket at Safeway in Fort Bragg, won $20,000 in prize money and plans to pay off bills with her winnings. Finishing the “The Big Spin®” show was Deborah Hudson from Ceres who won $60,000 by spinning the wheel. Hudson, who bought her ticket at Stop Save Liquor in Modesto, plans to take a vacation.
