SACRAMENTO – The California Lottery announced Fulton Square Liquor in Sherman Oaks as the California Lottery’s Retailer of the Month for June, 2004. The ceremony is scheduled for May 5th, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. and it will be held at Fulton Square Liquor, 4824 Fulton Ave, Sherman Oaks, 91423.
Fulton Square Liquor averages more than $16,000 in Lottery sales per week and has total sales-to-date of more than $10 million since it began selling Lottery products in January of 1987. With a minimum of 34 percent of all Lottery ticket sales benefiting public education, Fulton Square Liquor has contributed more than $3 million to California’s public schools.
Owner Ken Ngarayawongse is not only a wonderful Lottery retailer but also a wonderful asset to his community. Mr. Ngarayawongse and Fulton Square Liquor support a local grade school and also the local Cub Scouts.
The California Lottery is pleased to announce that in fiscal year 2002-03 it was able to contribute $1 billion to public education, for the third consecutive year and is on course to achieve this accomplishment for the fourth consecutive year.
