LUCK STRIKES TWICE IN 7-ELEVEN STORES MYSTERY WINNERS DUCK SPOTLIGHT-- STORE OWNERS CASH-IN
WHAT:
The lucky retailers who sold a ticket worth $64 million will receive $321,666 as a bonus for selling one-third of the February 16, 2002 mega jackpot. A check presentation will be made to the retailer of the 7-Eleven store that sold the winning ticket while California waits for the jackpot winners to appear. A retailer selling the winning jackpot ticket receives one-half of one percent of the jackpot share. Retailers receive approximately 6.9% of all lottery sales totaling more than $2 billion since the lottery began. The 7-Eleven chain is the California Lottery's largest retailer and has 1,172 locations in California out of the more than 18,000 that sell lottery tickets.

The California Lottery Director and representatives of 7-Eleven will be on hand to congratulate the retailer of the Montebello store that sold one of the three winning tickets from last week's $193 million mega jackpot. An oversized check will be presented to the retailer.
RETAILER BONUS:
The commission for selling a one-third share of the winning SuperLotto Plus jackpot is $321,666 or one-half of one percent of the jackpot share.
EDUCATION CONTRIBUTION:
California public schools will receive $112 million from the sales associated with this jackpot.
