SACRAMENTO – Lottery officials are eager to meet the winners of two MEGA Millions tickets – one from last night’s drawing and the other from a drawing two months ago. Both tickets hit five of six winning numbers in their respective drawings, missing only the Mega number.
Last night’s MEGA Millions ticket was purchased in Castro Valley and is worth $182,668. The ticket was purchased from Liquor King, which is located at 20892 Redwood Road. The winning numbers are 18, 29, 38, 43, 47, and the Mega number is 7.
Another MEGA Millions ticket purchased nearly two months ago in San Leandro has yet to be claimed. The ticket, purchased for the December 12 drawing, is worth $256,907. The ticket was purchased in San Leandro at Windsor Liquors, 1992 Lewelling Boulevard. The winning numbers are 27, 16, 10, 19, 48, and the Mega number is 25.
No one matched all six numbers in last night’s drawing, and Friday’s MEGA Millions jackpot will be worth $85 million.
The California Lottery wants to remind winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit your local Lottery District Office (www.calottery.com/AboutUs/Locations) as soon as possible. Tickets worth $600 or more must be mailed to a Lottery District Office or claimed there in person. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
