Where is the $425,000 MEGA Millions Winner from Concord?

SACRAMENTO – It has been nearly two months since California Lottery officials drew the winning MEGA Millions number combination of 37, 40, 48, 53, 56 and MEGA number 44.  The winner from the August 28, 2007 draw has not yet come forward!  The ticket was purchased at Fast & Easy Mart located at 4475 Treat Boulevard in Concord, it is not yet known if that ticket is owned by a single winner or a group.

Lottery officials are asking for your help to find this winner!  Look in your glove compartments and at the bottom of your purses, you could have $425,000 that you don’t even know about.

The California Lottery wants to remind players to sign the back of their tickets and if players find they are a winner, please put the ticket in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit the local Lottery District Office (http://www.calottery.com/AboutUs/Locations) immediately.  Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

The California State Lottery contributes at least 34 cents of every dollar that players spend on Lottery products to public education and returns more than 50 percent of sales to players in the form of prizes. Since its inception in 1985, the Lottery has contributed more than $20 billion to California schools out of total sales of more than $53 billion. Retailers win too, earning $3.4 billion in compensation since 1985.
