Los Angeles Mom Triples her Prize

Juan AcunaSACRAMENTO – Maria Canales, a stay-at-home mom from Los Angeles, uncovered “Spin-Spin-Spin” on her Scratchers® ticket sending her to The Big Spin wheel. Canales got to triple her prize when her first spin landed on the “Triple” spoke. Her second spin landed in the “$30,000” spoke, making her total prize $90,000. Canales plans to pay Maria Canalesbills, take a short vacation and use the remainder of her prize to buy a home.
 
This week on The Big Spin show, two contestants won a total of $190,000. The show aired statewide Saturday, November 17, 2007, the grand total won this week was $212,500!
 
Juan Acuna, a contractor from Tehachapi outplayed nine other contestants in Aces High and walked away with $100,000. Acuna’s passion is Indian jewelry so with his prize, he plans to travel to New Mexico and Arizona to buy jewelry.
