Playing is easy and winning is fun! Here's how:

Pick up a playslip at any of over 19,000 California Lottery® retailers statewide. Tickets are only sold by California Lottery retailers to persons 18 or older. Just look for the signs with the California Lottery logo displayed at a California Lottery retailer near you.

Mark five numbers from 1 to 56 and a MEGA number from 1 to 46 for each play.

On any play, you can mark "Quick Pick®" to select just the 5 numbers, or just the MEGA number, or both. You may also select up to 5 additional "Quick Pick" plays on each play slip. Do not use red ink.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR PLAYSLIP CAREFULLY. MEGA MILLIONS® TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELLED. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Play the same numbers for consecutive draws by marking Advance Play®. You may select 2-8, 16 or 20 Advance Plays.

Jackpot prize is paid in 26 annual installments. If you win the Jackpot, you will have 60 days from the Lottery's payment approval date to choose the cash value of the prize instead of 26 annual payments.

Cash Value: A single cash payment, estimated at 55% to 60% of the estimated jackpot amount based on current interest rates.

If you make a mistake, mark the VOID box. DO NOT ERASE.

Here's what a MEGA Millions ticket looks like:

Give your playslip to the clerk, along with $1 for each play per draw, and you will receive a MEGA Millions ticket. This ticket will show your 5 numbers, your MEGA number, and draw date(s). This ticket is your receipt.

When you buy a MEGA Millions ticket from a California Lottery retailer, check the numbers on your printed ticket. Once you've made sure the numbers are correct, sign the back of your ticket ... then cross your fingers.

Watch the MEGA Millions draw (every Tuesday and Friday evening) to see if your numbers match the winning numbers drawn. Click here for TV Stations in your area.

You can even play your selected numbers up to 20 draws in advance by marking the "ADVANCE PLAY" box on your playslip. Remember, you can also select up to 5 additional Quick Picks on one playslip.

There are 9 ways to match and win. In fact, you can win even if you just match the MEGA number. To win the Jackpot, you must match all 5 numbers plus the MEGA number.
