SACRAMENTO -- The California State Lottery Commission will hold a public meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2002, at the California Lottery Headquarters Building located at 600 North 10th Street in Sacramento, California.
Members of the public are invited. Persons wishing to address the Commission at the meeting may sign up in advance by calling the Commission Assistant, Barbara Tynes, at the California Lottery, (916) 323-0403 by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2002.

- NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION: Pursuant to Government Code sections 11125, 11126, and 11126.3. On the advice of its legal counsel, the Commission will meet in Closed Session. In the Closed Session the Commission will confer with and receive advice from its legal counsel and if necessary take action regarding pending and potential litigation, as defined in Government Code section 11126(e)(2). Discussion of these items in Open Session would prejudice the California Lottery's position in the underlying or potential litigation.
